I returned from a week-long trip inspired and enthused.

I waved hello to my landlady who lives on my street, and she told me the house I rent an apartment in was being sold.

Just as you become complacent, life throws new things at you. I've barely had a moment to catch up, and I'm moving (one block west, same neighborhood) next week! So much for 'normal'.
